Man, Woman, Person Collection

The Man, Woman, Person collection is heavily based on imagery and symbols from the Australian aboriginal language (noongar). My infatuation with this language and its symbols came from my many travels to Australia years ago, where I would see these historic, beautiful, expressive symbols around town and on different artworks. After a bit more exposure to these symbols, three of them really stood out to me:

Man. Woman and Person.

A phrase that is Simple, Powerful and Unifying all at the same time.

These symbols have a grounding effect for me. Just looking at them helps me to keep my ideas pure and keep my feet on earth. They represent the Marriani ethos perfectly and remind us that no matter who, or what we identify as, we are all just… people.
